On December 25, the Department of Tourism of Quang Binh province announced that the locality will organize a series of activities to welcome the new year 2025 in Dong Hoi city and the center of Phong Nha town, Bo Trach district.
On the afternoon of December 31, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center will be the highlight with a culinary tourism competition and performance. Here, typical dishes and culinary cultural values will be introduced to a large number of locals and tourists.
From 7pm to 10pm on the same day, the art program “Spring in the Heritage Land” will bring a space full of the intersection between tradition and modernity. Brilliant lion and dragon performances, traditional art performances honoring Quang Binh culture combined with modern dance and singing, will contribute to portraying the image of a youthful and aspirational Quang Binh.
On New Year's Eve from December 31, 2024 to the early morning of January 1, 2025, two countdown programs will be held simultaneously at Bao Ninh 1 Urban Area, Dong Hoi City and Phong Nha Center. The most prominent event is the low-altitude fireworks display in the 15 minutes of New Year's Eve.
