The above content has just been sent by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense to grant a license for Ho Chi Minh City to organize fireworks displays on New Year's Eve 2025.
According to the plan, Ho Chi Minh City will organize fireworks displays at three locations, including one high-altitude location at the Saigon River Tunnel (Thu Duc City) and two low-altitude locations at Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11) and Van Phuc Urban Area (Thu Duc City).
The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 0:00 to 0:15 on January 1, 2025.
At the high point at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel, it is expected to use 1,500 high-altitude artillery shells, 30 low-altitude artillery batteries and 10 pyrotechnic batteries.
Two low-altitude locations at Dam Sen and Van Phuc Urban Area each used 90 low-altitude artillery batteries.
All funding for the fireworks display will be mobilized from socialized sources.
