The tournament is organized by TPG in coordination with Hai Phong Grass Field, gathering 12 amateur football teams in the Northern region including Ustar HP FC, Son Dat FC, Tho FC, Canh Quan Anh Tam FC, NDN FC, 2004 HP FC, Minh Tan Motor FC, Morocco FC, Nam Kay FC, Nam Viet FC, Da Lube Young FC and Cung Dinh FC.
The final match between Tho FC and NDN FC was exciting with an open game. Under the cheers of nearly 1,000 spectators, the two teams continuously created dangerous opportunities but could not take advantage of them for most of the match time.
The turning point only came in the last minute of the match when Hoai Linh dribbled past NDN FC's defense before finishing delicately to open the score for Tho FC. After conceding a goal, NDN FC used power-play tactics to find an equalizer. However, a mistake in goalkeeper Quang Huy's combination created conditions for Van Hung to score a goal into the empty net, sealing a 2-0 victory for Tho FC.

With the championship in the Northern region, Tho FC received a bonus of 20 million VND, while NDN FC received 10 million VND for the runner-up position. Both teams will represent the Northern region to participate in the national finals scheduled to be held in July in Ho Chi Minh City.
The organizers said that 2026 is the first time TPG6v6 is deployed according to the national tournament model. Previously, the Southern regional qualifying round had identified two representatives to participate in the final round, Thao Vy Organic and Hoang Long FC. Strong teams from the Central and Western regions will also be identified in the near future.
In addition to its professional nature, the tournament also aims to build an amateur football playground in a professional direction, and at the same time spread community activities in 2026.
In the individual categories, Ayman Moutanabbi of Morocco FC won the Golden Boot title. Vu Hoang Dac (NDN FC) was voted the Best Player, while Nguyen Quang Hung of Tho FC received the Best Goalkeeper award. The Best Coach title belonged to Mr. Tran Van Dung of NDN FC.
