On the afternoon of May 5, in Hai Phong, the Organizing Committee held a technical meeting, drew lots and scheduled the matches of the 6-a-side Football Tournament (TPG 6v6) national club championship – Care For Vietnam Cup 2026 Northern region.
2026 marks a new development step for TPG 6v6 when it is deployed for the first time according to the national tournament system model. Previously, the Southern regional qualifying round in Ho Chi Minh City closed with tickets to the national final round belonging to Thao Vy Organic and Hoang Long FC. These two representatives will participate in the national final round expected to take place in July in Ho Chi Minh City, along with excellent teams from other regions.
In the Northern region, the tournament gathers 12 teams including: Ustar HP FC, Son Dat FC, Tho FC, Canh Quan Anh Tam FC, NDN FC, 2004 HP FC, Minh Tan Motor FC, Morocco FC, Nam Kay FC, Nam Viet FC, Da Lube Young FC and Cung Dinh FC. The teams compete according to the Swiss format, randomly draw lots to determine the matches. After the qualifying round, 8 teams with the best results will enter the knockout round, followed by the semi-finals and finals. The matches take place on June 15 and 16 at Hai Phong University Stadium.
According to the regulations, this year's tournament does not limit the number of professional players participating. Some regulations have also been adjusted to suit reality, but still ensure compliance with the 6-a-side Football Law of the World Mini Soccer Federation.
Mr. Vo Dan Mach - Head of the Organizing Committee said that the Southern qualifying round was successful, creating a positive premise for the match in Hai Phong. He expects the Northern region teams to bring attractive matches, rich in competition but still ensuring fair-play spirit.
The champion of the Northern region will receive 20 million VND, the runner-up will receive 10 million VND, and the two tied third-place teams will receive 5 million VND each. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded many individual and collective prizes.
TPG 6v6 - Care For Vietnam Cup 2026 is expected not only to be a high-quality amateur playground but also a stepping stone towards building a 6-person professional football ecosystem in Vietnam in the future. The tournament is organized by Ta Pha Group (TPG) in coordination with Hai Phong Football Field.
