The 23rd Sao Khue Awards not only continues to recognize typical products and services, but for the first time implements a new generation assessment model, aimed at comprehensively reflecting the capacity, maturity and development structure of Vietnam's digital technology industry. Sao Khue 2026 marks an important turning point in the method of evaluating and honoring Vietnamese digital technology products and solutions.
Vietnam's information technology (IT) - digital technology industry continues to grow strongly, with revenue of the entire ICT industry reaching about 166-170 billion USD, contributing more than 11% of GDP, while the digital economy accounts for more than 14% of GDP, equivalent to more than 70 billion USD.
In that growth picture, many products and solutions that were once honored Sao Khue have been and are present as an important part of the digital technology ecosystem, contributing to improving the efficiency of management, production and service provision of the economy.
Many products that were once honored Sao Khue have become key solutions widely deployed in state agencies, businesses and large economic organizations, while gradually expanding to regional and international markets. Sao Khue is seen as a soft benchmark of the Vietnamese IT market, reflecting technology trends, application needs and the maturity of the domestic technology business community.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Giang - Vice President cum General Secretary of VINASA - said that Vietnam's digital technology industry has a historical mission to create new growth momentum and master national digital infrastructure. The Sao Khue 2026 Award, or Top 10 Digital Technology Enterprises of Vietnam, is not simply an honoring activity.
We want to use the Awards to outline a transparent and accurate map of business capacity and digital solutions. This map will answer questions about the position of Vietnamese technology businesses and the maturity of Vietnamese digital technology solutions. From there, Sao Khue will not only accompany but also be a platform to position, to build and promote Vietnam's digital ecosystem, together solve the major problems of the country and bring Vietnamese intelligence to conquer the world" - Mr. Giang assessed.
Mr. Lam Quang Nam - Vice President of VINASA - added: "The change of Sao Khue 2026 is inevitable and necessary. This year's evaluation criteria system is scientifically built, standardized, equivalent to the international evaluation models being used. The application of the 3-axis model (Domain - Maturity - Value Nature) and the'reality appraisal' process (Audit) will help eliminate subjective assessments. Solutions winning Sao Khue awards from now on will establish standards for proven capacity and have the ability to lead the future".
Sao Khue 2026 program officially accepts applications from January 15, 2026 to the end of March 20, 2026. The evaluation process will go through strict rounds: Application Preliminary Round; Enterprise self-assessess capacity on the platform provided by the organizers; Appraisal and verification Round: The Expert Council will directly dialogue, test the product (Demo) and verify data according to appropriate methods; Final Round: Decision on ranking and positioning on the map.
The honoring and award ceremony is expected to be held in Hanoi on April 25, 2026, with the participation of more than 700 high-level guests, representatives of ministries, branches, large enterprises and a large number of press and television agencies.
