It is known that Robocon is a competition initiated by the Asia-Pacific Radio and Television Union (ABU) in 2002 and has been maintained continuously until now. The theme and rules of each year will be announced by the host country.
In 2025, the host country Mongolia will host the "ABU Robocon" contest with the theme "Robots competing in Basketball", promising to bring many new challenges, requiring creativity and high practical application from the competitors.

The "Robocon Vietnam 2025" contest will go through the preliminary round, taking place from June 5 and 6 with 61 teams, to select the 32 best teams to enter the final round (from June 8 to 13.) in Ninh Binh province. Accordingly, the champion team "Robocon Vietnam 2025" will represent the country in the "ABU Robocon 2025" competition in Mongolia.
Along with the competition will be a series of events "Robotics Connect - Creative Connection & Professional Opportunities", including exhibitions and specialized seminars. This will be a forum to connect students, universities, businesses, technology experts and the Robotics community.

The Robot Exhibition Center within the framework of the "Robocon 2025" competition final round will display outstanding products and technology solutions of teams, businesses and universities, creating opportunities for exchange, learning and practical experience for students.
The Robotics Connect workshop is also a place for experts, managers, business representatives and students to discuss technology trends, professional opportunities, and high-quality human resource development in the fields of Robotics, AI and automation.

The theme of this year's basketball competition requires teams to make the most of knowledge, creativity and team spirit. In particular, the Robotics Connect event series will open up a wide range of opportunities for connection, cooperation and development for students, schools and businesses".
