On August 15, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Youth Union organized the Final Round of the 2nd Da Nang City Robotics Innovation Contest, 2026 at APEC Park.
The Final Round of the Competition has the participation of 110 teams, of which 47 teams belong to Group R1 - for primary school students and 63 teams belong to Group R2 - for secondary school students in Da Nang city.

With the form of live competition at the arena, the teams have conditions to operate robots, handle arising situations, promote creative thinking and coordination ability during the competition.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Le Kim Thuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Da Nang City Team Council, said that the 2nd Da Nang City Robotics Innovation Contest in 2026 continues to affirm the creativity, spirit of conquering science and technology and the ability to master technology of children and students in the city.
Through the rounds of competition, especially the Final Round, the teams have shown serious preparation, creative thinking, teamwork skills and bravery in the competition process.

I believe that the results achieved at the Contest will be a motivation for them to continue to nurture their passion for science and technology, boldly try their hand at larger playgrounds, thereby contributing to spreading the creative spirit and aspiration to rise up of Da Nang youth in the new era," Mr. Thuong emphasized.
Through the Contest, contestants are facilitated to apply interdisciplinary knowledge to solve specific tasks; and at the same time train logical thinking, programming skills, robot control, teamwork and situation handling.

The event is not only a competition activity in science and technology but also an environment for students to experience, interact, learn and develop creative abilities. Each robot product participating in the competition is the result of research, testing, completion and coordination between team members.

The final round is a recognition of the spirit of effort, preparation process and creativity of the teams. At the same time, it creates conditions for them to continue to exchange, learn, and try their hand at the National-scale Robotics playground, thereby contributing to the development of scientific, technological capacity and creativity in children and students of Da Nang City.
