On September 3, the An Giang Provincial Police Youth Union coordinated with Thuy Lieu 1 Primary School to organize the program "Helping children go to school". The program presented 50 gifts to students in difficult circumstances. Each gift includes a backpack and a student notebook, worth 250,000 VND, with a total cost of 12.5 million VND contributed by the Provincial Police Youth Union.
This is not only practical material support, but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping them to be more confident and steadfast on their path of learning.
Speaking at the program, Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Quoc, Head of the Youth Union of An Giang Provincial Police, said that the activity "Showing your children to school" is one of the typical youth projects, aiming to promote the spirit of volunteering for the community of union members and youth of the Provincial Police. Through that, the youth of the police force hopes to join hands with the education sector to care for and support students in disadvantaged areas, so that they have more confidence and determination to study and nurture their dreams for the future.
The program is also an opportunity to spread profound human values, affirming the role of the An Giang Provincial Police youth in the young generation, contributing to fostering the spirit of humanity and sharing in the community, adding motivation for poor students to confidently continue their knowledge journey.
