On June 23, the New Zealand Education Agency (Education New Zealand - ENZ) held a ceremony to award the New Zealand Government Scholarship (NZSS) 2025 certificate, honoring 20 outstanding Vietnamese students receiving the scholarship. The event recognized the students' outstanding achievements, marking the beginning of their learning and development journey in one of the most advanced education institutions in the world. Students were provided with information about life and study in New Zealand, helping them prepare well for their study abroad trip.

Launched in 2019, the New Zealand Government Scholarship for Secondary Schools (NZSS) has affirmed its position as one of the most prestigious international scholarships for Vietnamese students. NZSS has awarded more than 70 scholarships, opening up opportunities for comprehensive learning and development in New Zealand for talented Vietnamese students.

In 2025, the program will record 45 high schools spread across cities in New Zealand with diverse training types.

With a flexible review process, not only based on academic achievements but also assessing personal goals, English proficiency, presentation skills and learning spirit, the 20 most outstanding students were awarded the NZSS 2025 Scholarship.

Mr. Scott James, Consul General and Trade Abtorney of New Zealand in Ho Chi Minh City emphasized: We are honored that Vietnamese students choose New Zealand as their international educational destination. The NZSS scholarships not only support academic development for young people, but also symbolize our common belief in the transformative power of education and the commitment to building a brighter, more connected future together.
