Recorded by Lao Dong reporter on August 21, many hotel projects are being vibrantly built and implemented along the Vo Nguyen Giap coastal road.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ba (born in 1954, living in Ngu Hanh Son ward, Da Nang) said that in recent years, the area along Vo Nguyen Giap street has developed very quickly.
Not only domestic investors, many international corporations are also promoting their presence here with 4-5 star hotel projects, targeting the segment of international guests and high-end domestic guests, creating more jobs for local people.
"From security guards, receptionists to catering staff... here are mainly locals. My daughter has just graduated from school, graduated with a major in hotel management and has just applied for a job at a hotel near her home, without having to go far" - Mr. Ba said.
Mr. Tran Quang Hung (born in 1974) - hotel manager on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Son Tra District - said that recently, many new hotel construction projects have been under construction.
According to Mr. Hung, the appearance of new projects shows that investors still believe in the tourism potential of Da Nang, especially the My Khe coastal area, which is a destination that attracts international and domestic tourists.
Many economic experts believe that expanding international routes in 2025 will not only help Da Nang increase the number of domestic and international visitors, but also be a key factor in the development strategy and expansion of the coastal hotel - resort ecosystem.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City statistics show that in July 2025, visitors served by accommodation establishments are estimated to reach more than 1.9 million, an increase of more than 15% over the same period in 2024.
Notably, revenue from accommodation, food and beverage, and travel in July 2025 is estimated at more than VND 5,500 billion (up 18%) over the same period in 2024.
The average room occupancy rate at accommodation facilities during the peak summer season (around June-August) remains high at 75 - 80%, especially on weekends and major holidays, most coastal hotels are fully booked and the booking schedule will last until the end of August 2025.
At the end of July 2025, at the overview report of the Da Nang real estate market in 2025, Savills Vietnam Real Estate Services Company - commented that after merging with Quang Nam province, Da Nang city owns more than 215 km of coastline, the longest in Vietnam.
The continuous formation of the coastal tourism corridor from Son Tra to Chu Lai is creating a new growth pole, contributing to increasing the attraction of the new Da Nang City to domestic and foreign investors.
Not only the vibrant hotel segment, it is forecasted that from the second half of 2025 to 2026, the Da Nang market will welcome 372 more villas from 3 major projects including fantaseas Villa ( BRG), Nam O Resort (Trung Thuy) and Mandarin Oriental Da Nang (Nam Khang).
This is an important step in restructuring supply, while shaping the Central region's high-end resort segment.
