On April 1st, Dien Bien Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) organized the opening ceremony of the Russian language class for 50 students of the Provincial Ethnic Minority Boarding High School.
Mr. Cu Huy Hoan - Deputy Director of Dien Bien Department of Education and Training said: "Through the course, students not only are equipped with Russian language knowledge and skills but also have the opportunity to learn more deeply about the unique culture of the Russian Federation.
This is the 2nd Russian language class for students of the Department of Education of Dien Bien province.
Mr. Cu Huy Hoan said that the experiences from course 1 have broadened the horizon, improved integration skills, and at the same time sparked the desire for learning and strong will to rise up in each student.
For the teaching staff, this is also a golden opportunity to exchange expertise, learn international experience, thereby contributing to innovating teaching methods and improving the quality of education in the province" - Mr. Cu Huy Hoan said.
Previously, implementing the cooperation agreement between the Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee and the City Government of Saint Petersburg (Russian Federation), the Department of Education and Training was assigned the task of organizing the selection and training of students to participate in learning Russian, preparing for international exchange programs.
Also on April 1, Dien Bien Department of Education and Training organized the opening ceremony of the Lao language training course for 17 students from agencies, units and educational institutions in the province.
The study period is 6 months from April 1st to September 26th. This is one of the contents in the Project on Training Cooperation between Dien Bien province and Northern Laos provinces, phase 2021-2025, orientation to 2030.
