The People's Committee of Dong Thap province has just issued a plan to implement innovation, development and improvement of the quality of vocational education until 2030, with a vision to 2045.
Accordingly, by 2030, Dong Thap province strives to attract 50% of high school students to the vocational education system; retraining, continuing training for about 60% of the workforce; the rate of trained workers reaches 85%; of which, the rate of trained workers reaches 65%.
The college is recognized as a high-quality college and approaches the level of ASEAN countries. Schools in the province have key training majors and occupations, with outstanding domestic and regional competitiveness, focusing on majors, agricultural, aquatic, industrial - construction, service and health.

By 2045, the province's network of vocational training institutions will be capable of training high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of the domestic labor market and the needs of the developing country when workers participate in working abroad under contracts.
