The People's Committee of Dong Thap province has just issued a Plan on agricultural vocational training for rural workers in 2025 in the province. Accordingly, the province focuses on training 3,317 workers in rural agricultural occupations; training 40 workers in cooperative directors.
Regarding development, Dong Thap will develop a training curriculum and develop a job list standard, continue to review, update, and develop agricultural vocational training programs and curriculum in accordance with actual needs, labor market needs and agricultural development orientations of the locality.
The province also innovates the content and teaching methods, increases the duration of practice, and combines training with actual production and business; research, develop, and supplement a new list of vocational training in accordance with the needs of modern agricultural development, application of high technology, and clean and safe agricultural production. Develop technical economic norms for training models, ensuring feasibility and efficiency.
In particular, Dong Thap prioritizes occupations serving the development of high-tech agriculture, production of products in the direction of safety, organic, synchronous mechanics, processing, linking production according to value chains, safety certification; circular production focused on training; developing OCOP products.
