On July 1st, the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province announced the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam.
Accordingly, the whole province had 35,933 candidates taking the exam, of which 35,339 candidates passed the graduation exam, reaching a rate of 98.35%.
If free candidates are not counted, the whole province has 35,875 candidates taking the exam, 35,314 candidates passing the graduation exam, reaching a rate of 98.44%.
By education system, general education has 34,130 candidates taking the exam, 33,761 candidates passing graduation, reaching 98.92%. Continuing education has 1,745 candidates taking the exam, 1,553 candidates passing graduation, reaching 89%.
The whole province has 127 exam papers achieving a score of 10. Among them, Mathematics is leading with 70 scores of 10; History with 36 scores of 10; Chemistry has 5 scores of 10; English and Physics both have 4 scores of 10; Industrial Technology has 3 scores of 10; Biology has 2 scores of 10; Agricultural Technology, Geography and Informatics each have 1 score of 10. The remaining subjects have no exam papers achieving perfect scores.
Gia Lai's high school graduation rate in 2026 reached 94.35%, lower than 2025 - reaching 99.32%. However, this result still belongs to the group of localities with high graduation rates, surpassing Quang Ngai (97.9%), Dong Nai (96.88%) and Khanh Hoa (96.1%).
