In the 2024-2025 school year, Hai Phong ranked 3rd nationwide in the number of prizes in the national excellent student selection exam with 102 prizes, including 7 first prizes, 24 second prizes, 37 third prizes and 34 consolation prizes. This is also the first year that the total number of prizes for Hai Phong students in this exam has reached over 100.
This school year, the city has 3 students selected to participate in the national team selection competition for the International and Regional Olympics, in the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology; the competition period is from March 25-27, 2025, in Hanoi. In addition, 3 projects of An Duong High School and Tran Phu High School for the Gifted participated in the National Science and Technology Research Competition for Secondary and High School Students in the 2024-2025 school year; the exam time is from March 18-21, in Ho Chi Minh City.
On this occasion, Hai Phong rewarded students who won the national excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year; the Board of Directors and teachers directly teaching and guiding students won prizes. The total reward cost is more than 5.2 billion VND.
