The ASEAN University Network (AUN) has just completed an assessment, taking place on January 27-29, for 4 training programs of the Banking Academy according to AUN-QA standards. The programs included in the assessment include Banking, Finance, Accounting and Business Administration.

The assessment content focuses on considering the level of response of training programs to AUN-QA criteria, including output standards, program structure and content, teaching and learning methods, student assessment, teaching staff, facilities conditions, quality assurance activities and level of connection with professional practical requirements.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gerardo L. Largoza - Head of the AUN-QA evaluation team - said that the Banking Academy has completed the dossier for accreditation and coordinated to work with the evaluation team as required. He also mentioned some common characteristics of the four accredited training programs.
Specifically, the training program framework is built according to a training approach based on output standards (OBE) and implemented according to the PDCA cycle; the program content is reviewed and adjusted periodically to meet changes in the industry and social needs.
Teaching, learning and evaluating learners methods are applied in many different forms, aiming to support students to meet the output standards of the training program. The teaching staff participating in teaching has professional qualifications and research activities.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gerardo L. Largoza, quality assurance is a continuous process, requiring persistence, consistency and continuous efforts of the entire system; based on the evaluation results and recommendations of the expert delegation, the Banking Academy continues to promote its strengths, while effectively implementing improvement activities to continuously improve training quality, better meeting the needs of learners and society.
