The event is an occasion for the school to express gratitude and honor generations of teachers, cadres, civil servants, and workers working in the education sector who have been and are enthusiastically devoted to the cause of education and training.
In his opening speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Huu Toan - Chairman of the Board of the Banking Academy expressed his emotion when mentioning the journey of more than 6 decades of "growing people".
He said that 64 years may be a modest number compared to the longevity of knowledge, but it is a long enough journey for the Banking Academy to build a prestigious "brand", a solid position in the country's higher education system.
"Teaching and human cultivation are always recognized, respected and even honored by society as the most noble profession in noble professions" - Mr. Bui Huu Toan shared.
Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Huu Toan also emphasized the results achieved by the academy in 64 years of construction and development. In particular, in the 2024-2025 school year, the academy has achieved many achievements in all aspects of activities.
Recently, the Prestigious Education Ranking Organization Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) announced the 2026 Asian University Rankings. The Banking Academy is in the Top 25 universities in Vietnam ranked.
Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Huu Toan said that the academy being in the QS Asian University Rankings is a source of pride, but above all, it is a responsibility. In recent times, the academy has proactively promoted domestic and international quality accreditation; developed training programs according to international standards, associated with the high-quality human resource needs of the digital economy; enhanced scientific research, business cooperation and expanded global academic linkages.
He affirmed that this result is a driving force for the academy to continue to strive stronger, reaching the goal of developing into a smart university, deeply integrating and having a high position on the regional education map by 2045.
At the ceremony, the Board of Directors of the Banking Academy awarded the title of Emulation Fighter of the banking industry to 8 individuals; Certificates of Merit from the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam to 4 collectives and 26 individuals who have excellently completed the tasks of the 2024-2025 school year.
