The project to build and repair Nam Ha Kindergarten (facility 2) has been approved by Kien An Ward People's Committee in Decision No. 1184/QD-UBND dated December 15, 2025 and Decision No. 323/QD-UBND dated February 4, 2026. The total investment of the project is nearly 20 billion VND, and the expected construction time is 150 days.
According to the approved scale, the project includes dismantling old construction items; building a new 3-story classroom building with an area of 429 m2 each floor; renovating the 2-story Committee building; building a pumping station, fire extinguishing tank and installing fire prevention and fighting equipment to serve both the new building and the renovated project; building new auxiliary gate pillars, replacing the gate; and renovating the drainage system, returning the backyard foundation after demolition.
The project implementation aims to meet the increasing learning and teaching needs of the school; gradually complete facilities and equipment in a synchronous and modern direction; ensure a safe and spacious educational environment. Thereby, contributing to improving the quality of childcare and education, meeting the requirements of renovating the preschool education program and towards the goal of building Nam Ha Kindergarten to meet national standards.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee Nguyen Phong Doanh emphasized that the new construction and repair project of Nam Ha Kindergarten (facility 2) is a practical project to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), International Labor Day May 1, 2026 and the 71st anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2026).
To ensure the project is completed on schedule, ensuring quality, aesthetics and sustainability, the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee requested the construction contractor, consulting and supervision units to promote the spirit of responsibility, strictly comply with regulations, put project quality first. At the same time, absolutely ensure labor safety, environmental sanitation and accelerate construction progress, striving to put the project into use to serve the new school year.
The Chairman of the Ward People's Committee also requested departments, branches, and mass organizations; Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of the Residential Group to closely coordinate and create favorable conditions for the construction unit to implement the project in accordance with legal regulations. The Board of Directors of Nam Ha Kindergarten proactively coordinates, strengthens inspection and supervision, and at the same time prepares sufficient resources to receive and operate the project after completion.
Emphasizing the consensus role of the people, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee Nguyen Phong Doanh expressed his desire to continue to receive the support and joint efforts of local people so that the project can be implemented on schedule and effectively. When completed, Nam Ha Kindergarten (facility 2) will become a spacious educational project, contributing to improving the quality of care and education for children in Kien An ward.
