On the morning of April 12, in Hanoi, the national final round of the Dinh Trang Nguyen Vietnamese Language Contest for the 2025-2026 school year took place in a solemn atmosphere, gathering the most outstanding students from many provinces and cities across the country.
According to the results announced by the Organizing Committee, nationwide only 2 students achieved the highest title - Trang Nguyen, including a 4th grade student from Hanoi and a 5th grade student from Lao Cai province.
In which, Loc Minh Khang, a 5th grade student at Nguyen Trai Elementary School, excellently surpassed many candidates to win the highest position in the 5th grade block.

This achievement is not only a proud milestone for individual students but also the result of a systematic training process, close companionship between schools, teachers and families in developing Vietnamese language skills for elementary school students.
In this year's round, out of a total of 290 qualified candidates nationwide, the Lao Cai delegation had 29 participants, accounting for 10%. It is worth noting that 100% of the province's students won prizes.
Specifically, the delegation won 4 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 5 third prizes and 9 consolation prizes - a comprehensive result, showing the thorough preparation, confidence and bravery of the contestants.
These figures clearly reflect the concern of the local education sector in improving the quality of teaching and learning Vietnamese - an important foundation to help students develop thinking, expressive ability and access to knowledge.
The Vietnamese Language Valedictorian Contest has long become an attractive intellectual playground for elementary school students, contributing to nurturing love for the mother tongue, while creating a lively and creative environment for language skills training.
The fact that Lao Cai students won the title of National First laureate for the first time not only affirms the position of local education but also spreads the spirit of active learning, creating motivation for many generations of students to continue to strive and rise in their studies.
This achievement also shows that, despite many specific difficulties of the mountainous area, Lao Cai's education sector is still gradually breaking through, affirming itself on the national education map with specific and convincing results.
