On the afternoon of November 8, Tran Phu Secondary School (Le Chan Ward, Hai Phong City) held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the school's founding (1955-2025) and received the First Class Labor Medal (2nd time).
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Do Manh Hien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee; Mr. Le Trung Kien - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; representatives of the leaders of the Department of Education and Training, Le Chan Ward, An Bien Ward and teachers of the school through the ages.
Teacher Le Thi Minh Tam - Principal of Tran Phu Secondary School reviewed the history of the school's formation and development from the fierce resistance period to the renovation period and now the school has inherited those achievements to enter a new era - the era of national growth. Over the past decades, the schools teachers and students have continuously maintained their position as the leading unit in the city in terms of comprehensive educational achievements, achievements in detecting and nurturing excellent students said teacher Le Thi Minh Tam.

Mr. Le Trung Kien - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee acknowledged and commended the school's great contributions over the past 70 years. Those achievements have contributed to the overall achievements of the Hai Phong education sector and further enhanced the school's tradition. According to Vice Chairman Le Trung Kien, the 2025-2026 school year takes place in the context of the country entering a new development stage, implementing a 2-level local government model, streamlining the apparatus, with many breakthrough policies in education. Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Kien hopes that the school will continue to affirm its role and position, promote the results and achievements that have been achieved in recent years, focus on successfully implementing the goals, tasks and policies for educational development set out.
Recognizing the outstanding achievements of Tran Phu Secondary School in its operation, contributing to the educational cause of the locality and the city, the President decided to award the First Class Labor Medal - a noble award of the Party and State to the school. The Prime Minister has decided to award Certificates of Merit to 3 teachers including: Teacher Le Thi Minh Tam - Principal of the school; Teacher Hoang Le Minh; Teacher Ngo Huy Thanh.

Along with that, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City decided to award Certificates of Merit to 9 teachers of the school. The Director of the Department of Education and Training presented certificates of merit to 15 teachers. The People's Committee of Le Chan Ward also decided to award certificates of merit to 21 teachers of Tran Phu Secondary School.
