On May 17, the Youth Committee of Hue City Police said that in order to improve the physical strength, bravery, fighting spirit and situation handling skills for officers, union members, and youth, Hue City Police has established a Youth Martial Arts Club with the subjects of Karatedo, Taekwondo and Vovinam.
In the first phase of implementation, the club attracted more than 200 union members and youth to participate in training. This is not only a healthy sports playground after working hours but also an environment for officers and soldiers to practice martial arts skills, tactics, improve self-defense ability, team coordination and handle situations arising in the process of performing tasks to ensure security and order.
Through training sessions, union members and youth are trained in health, agility, discipline, regular demeanor and bravery of a People's Police soldier.
According to Hue City Police, the establishment of the Youth Martial Arts Club is a practical activity to concretize the emulation movement "Three Firsts: Most Disciplined - Most Loyal - Closest to the People"; and at the same time create motivation for union members and youth to continue to train and promote their pioneering role in protecting national security and maintaining peace for the people.
