On April 23, information from Phu Tho Provincial Police said that Van Ban Commune Police promptly investigated and clarified a property theft case that occurred in the area.
Previously, on April 22, Van Ban Commune Police received a report from Mr. Hoang Van Tr (residing in Dung area, Van Ban commune) about his phone store in Dinh Bang area being broken into by thieves, stealing 3 mobile phones including: iPhone 12 Pro Max, TECNO Spark Go 2 and Samsung A07, with a total value of about 15.5 million VND.

Immediately after receiving the report, the police force urgently deployed professional measures, reviewed the area, and verified the suspect.
Through investigation, the police agency identified Phung Van Minh Khuong (born 2001, residing in Go Cao area, Van Ban commune) as the perpetrator of the theft.
Van Ban Commune Police executed an emergency detention order for Khuong to serve the investigation.
At the police station, the suspect confessed to the act of stealing 3 phones at Mr. Tr's store; the exhibits of the case have been recovered.
Currently, the case is being further consolidated by the Police agency, investigated and handled according to the provisions of law.
Functional agencies recommend that people raise vigilance, proactively protect property, check and reinforce doors, install security equipment when conditions permit and promptly notify the police when suspicious signs are detected.
