On June 25, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that Chau Que Commune Police had just promptly supported a lost elderly man to return safely to reunite with his family.
This meaningful action is a practical activity in response to the "Three Firsts" emulation movement in the Provincial Police force, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of police officers who are close to the people, serving the people.

At about 2:34 am on June 24, during a patrol to ensure security and order in Khe Phao village, Chau Que commune, the Commune Police Task Force discovered an elderly man walking around in the middle of the night.
Through contact, the man showed signs of being not lucid, not remembering the address of his residence and also not being able to determine the way home.
Realizing that continuing to walk alone at night could be dangerous, the Task Force took the man to the commune police headquarters to rest, care for and encourage his spirit.
At the same time, the police force deployed measures to verify his identity to find relatives for him.

By professional measures, Chau Que Commune Police identified the man as Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, born on April 28, 1964, residing in Phuc An residential group, Yen Bai ward.
Through contact with the family, the police force learned that Mr. Hoa showed signs of being mentally unstable, often leaving the house and not remembering the way back.
Before being discovered, the family divided up to search many places in a worried mood but there were still no results.
Immediately after receiving information from Chau Que Commune Police, Mr. Hoa's relatives quickly came to the headquarters to pick him up and bring him home safely.
Meeting relatives again after many hours of searching, the family expressed their emotion and sent sincere thanks to the officers and soldiers of Chau Que Commune Police for their dedication and responsibility.
A simple act in the middle of the night contributed to bringing joy to a family, and at the same time spreading the beautiful image of the grassroots police force.
Such practical and humane actions continue to affirm the spirit of being close to the people, respecting the people, wholeheartedly serving the people, contributing to maintaining peace in the area.
