On June 24, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that the police of communes in the area are promoting legal propaganda, drug prevention and control and equipping people with accident prevention skills, contributing to raising awareness and self-protection awareness in the community.
In Sin Cheng commune, the commune police organized the distribution of leaflets combined with direct propaganda on drug prevention at the commune market. The activity attracted more than 400 people to participate.
The Police force has distributed 435 leaflets to propagate about the harms of drugs, methods and tricks of drug crimes and preventive measures. Through this, mobilizing people to raise vigilance and actively participate in denouncing crimes.


On June 23, Chau Que Commune Police coordinated with a business household in the area to organize propaganda on drowning prevention skills for about 50 children.
Children are instructed on recognizing dangerous areas, handling skills when detecting drowning people and how to seek support from adults, contributing to limiting accidents during the summer.
From June 19 to 21, Ban Lau Commune Police coordinated with the Commune Youth Union to organize summer activities combined with legal propaganda for 200 union members, youth and children.

The content focuses on preventing drugs, school violence, drowning and online scams. Visual propaganda forms, combined with exchanges and Q&A, help students easily absorb knowledge.
Also on June 23, Tu Le Commune Police organized propaganda and posted warning signs about drugs "disguised" as confectionery and drinks at business establishments in the area.

The Police force has posted 23 warning panels at 23 establishments, and at the same time requested establishment owners to sign commitments not to trade, store or assist in the consumption of products suspected of containing drugs.
According to Lao Cai Provincial Police, the above activities contribute to raising legal awareness, awareness of crime prevention, social evils and injuries among the people.
In the coming time, the local police will continue to coordinate with the government, schools and mass organizations to promote propaganda, build a safe and healthy living environment, and maintain security and order from the grassroots level.
