On the occasion of the International Biodiversity Day, May 22, 2025, with the theme "Living in harmony with nature and sustainable development", the Hai Duong Forest Protection Department organized many practical activities to raise public awareness of the important role of biodiversity and nature conservation.
The Department coordinates with press agencies to develop reports and propaganda articles on forest management, protection and development as well as biodiversity in Hai Duong province. The messages are widely spread to each organization, individual and household to encourage everyone to join hands to protect the environment.
At the same time, the Forest Protection Department continues to effectively implement the National Strategy on Biodiversity to 2030, with a vision to 2050, towards developing a green economy, sustainably using natural resources and proactively adapting to climate change.
In addition, the forest rangers have also strengthened cooperation with border provinces to control and strictly handle illegal exploitation and trade of wild animals and plants, contributing to biodiversity protection and maintaining ecosystem balance.
Through these activities, the Hai Duong Forest Protection Department affirms its determination to improve the effectiveness of nature conservation, sustainable development and protect the ecological environment for future generations.
