When propagating the law "catching up" with social networks
Over the past time, the short film "Online Kidnapping" has become a topic widely shared in the online community in Hue City, especially among young people. Without sensational details, the film still creates attraction thanks to its close expression, reflecting the psychology of losing vigilance against sophisticated scams in cyberspace.
This is a product of the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of Hue City Police in coordination with media units and students of Hue University of Law - Hue University. Not only has communication value, the film is also a lively form of propaganda, helping viewers easily access, understand and remember the methods and tricks of high-tech criminals.
Nguyen Thi Minh Anh - a student at Hue University of Science said: "Watching the movie, I find it very realistic, like what you can encounter every day, thereby understanding more clearly how fraudsters manipulate victims' psychology.
Mr. Tran Van Hung (Hue City) shared: "Such content is very easy to access, no need to read many documents, just watch videos and you can understand and remember to prevent it.
Along with that, the campaigns "Not alone", "Together safe online" are being implemented synchronously, combined with workshops at universities and colleges, attracting hundreds of students to participate, contributing to raising awareness and self-protection skills in the online environment.
Promoting social strength in ensuring network security and social security
A notable highlight is the mass mobilization model "Accompanying the Creative Content Community of Hue City" launched on January 19, 2026. From here, hundreds of videos and articles promoting the law, warning about crimes, and spreading positive values are produced. In important events, the force also coordinates livestreaming to refute false information, contributing to maintaining the "battlefield" in cyberspace.

Not only pioneering on the digital front, the unit also demonstrates the role of connecting society through charity activities. Prominent is the companionship of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dat - Head of the Steering Committee of the Creative Content Community of Hue City - a bridge between the police force and philanthropists.
Thanks to this connection, many large-scale charity programs have been implemented. In November 2025 alone, thousands of gifts worth billions of VND were given to people in difficult circumstances in Hue City, Dak Lak and many localities. In the first months of 2026, units continued to mobilize resources, including overseas Vietnamese, to support hundreds of difficult circumstances, people with disabilities, and orphans.
Sharing about the companionship, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dat said: "We want to work with the Police force to create valuable products for society, and at the same time connect many charitable hearts. When everyone joins hands, positive things will be spread more strongly.
According to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Mai Van Toan - Head of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of Hue City Police, in the context of increasingly sophisticated high-tech crime, innovating propaganda methods is an urgent requirement. Bringing legal content closer to people through videos, short films, and social networks contributes to spreading official information and preventing crime early and remotely.
