On November 3, the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province said that, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Department has reviewed and compiled a list of large-scale and meaningful projects and works to celebrate the 14th National Congress.
There are 5 large-scale projects in urban areas, infrastructure and social security with a total investment of tens of thousands of billions of VND that will be started.
Leading the list is the Cam Ranh Bay Urban Area project with a total investment of more than VND 85,293 billion, a scale of more than 1,254 hectares, with a population of about 230,000 people.
The project is invested by the Vinhomes - Cam Ranh - VinES consortium, including 39,000 houses of all kinds, including nearly 20,000 social housing units. The project is expected to create a modern, synchronous urban appearance for the South Khanh Hoa area.
Next is the Van Thang Resettlement Area project (phase 1), in Van Thang and Tu Bong communes, with a total investment of more than 1,385 billion VND, nearly 100 hectares.
The project serves the resettlement of people affected by key projects and other projects in Van Phong Economic Zone and Van Ninh area.
The Dien Khanh inter-regional road project has an investment capital of 1,316 billion VND, 19.15km long, contributing to the completion of the transport network and urban development of Tay Nha Trang.

In the field of social security, there are 2 projects considered eligible to start construction, namely the Hung Phu II Social Housing project in Bac Nha Trang ward, invested by Nguyen Hanh Construction Investment - Design Consulting Co., Ltd.
With a total investment of 1,445 billion VND, the project is built on an area of 6,895m2.
CT-01 An Binh Tan Social Housing Project, in Nam Nha Trang Ward with a total investment of VND 1,115 billion.
Both projects will add nearly 2,000 apartments, serving low-income people, concretizing the 1 million social housing project 20212030.
According to the Khanh Hoa Department of Construction, the selected projects not only have large capital scales but also have symbolic significance, demonstrating the province's determination in urban development, transport infrastructure and social welfare in the period of 2025-2030.
However, to ensure the conditions for organizing the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony according to regulations, the Department of Construction recommends that the Provincial People's Committee direct investors to urgently complete the remaining procedures, ensuring eligibility to start the project according to regulations.
