According to YG Entertainment, Baby Monster's MV "Drip" surpassed 400 million views on YouTube.
This achievement was set about one year and nine months after the MV was released on November 1, 2024. "Drip" is the title track of the group's first studio album of the same name.
With the new milestone, Baby Monster currently owns two MVs with more than 400 million views. Before "Drip", the MV "Sheesh" helped the group conquer a similar achievement.
Drop" attracts attention thanks to its strong melody, energetic staging and images that highlight the personality of each member. After nearly two years of release, the MV still maintains a stable viewership growth rate.
Not only the official MV, "Drip"'s performance video has also exceeded 200 million views. This version focuses on the choreography and performance ability of the members, creating a different attraction compared to the MV that is heavily invested in terms of setting and images.
Up to now, Baby Monster has a total of 17 videos reaching 100 million views or more on YouTube. This is considered one of the factors helping the group consolidate their position in the new generation of Kpop idols.
Baby Monster's official YouTube channel is also growing rapidly. Previously, the group took a year and five months to reach 10 million subscribers, the shortest time for a Kpop girl group.
On August 21, Baby Monster became the third Kpop girl group to have 13 million subscribers on YouTube. Total views on the channel have exceeded 9.89 billion and are approaching the 10 billion mark.
YG Entertainment focuses on releasing many types of content such as MVs, performance videos, behind-the-scenes and special stages. Continuously updating products helps Baby Monster maintain interaction with international fans, while prolonging the vitality of the songs after release.
Baby Monster is currently conducting its second world tour named "2026-27 Babymonster World Tour [Choom]", starting from June.
On September 22nd and 23rd, the group is expected to perform for the first time at Kyocera Dome Osaka, closing their tour in Japan. After that, Baby Monster continues to meet audiences in five continents, including Asia, Oceania, South America, North America and Europe.
