Episode 8 of "Tinh Ha Say Hi" marks the first qualifying round of the program. Two teams led by Quang Hung MasterD and Duong Domic entered Dance Battle consisting of three rounds, in water-covered stage conditions and the recording process lasted until near dawn.
The three judges Son Lam, C2 Low and Brother Bin evaluated the performances based on five criteria including technique, skills, musical sense, attractiveness and idea. The results also had the participation of 300 audiences at the studio.
Risky performances on water stages
In the first round, each team brought 12 members onto the stage. Duong Domic's team chose street colors, combined many dance styles and created space for each member to express their personality.
Son. K takes on movements with street dance spirit. Wean and The Thien attract attention with double dance, while Phap Kieu is raised by the members in the center position.
The most daring highlight belongs to JSOL with the aerial reversal. The movement was performed in wet floor conditions, making judge Son Lam highly appreciate the male singer's recklessness. At the end of the performance, Phap Kieu simulated a hair wash scene by the river, creating laughter and helping the performance have a different ending.
Quang Hung MasterD's team chose to build the performance like a movie story. CongB is in charge of brainstorming ideas and also leading the 12-member lineup.
Quang Hung MasterD held the central position, while Kimlong, Xuan Dinh KY and HYO performed difficult moves. Ali Hoang Duong and CongB became the focus with a pole dance on the slippery floor. The quartet Xuan Dinh KY, HYO, Cody Nam Vo and Song Luan also created highlights with their sexy performances.
The judges commented that Quang Hung MasterD's team had many visual ideas and knew how to exploit the effects of the water stage. However, after summarizing professional scores and audience votes, Duong Domic's team won the first round with a 7-point difference.
In the Cypher round, Ivan, Dillan, CongB and Dang Hong Hai represented the two teams to face each other directly. Ivan chose a strong approach, constantly approaching his opponent. Dillan showed his musical sense and hip hop quality, and coordinated everyone with Dang Hong Hai.
CongB stands out with waacking, creating fast, decisive and controlled movements. The performance helped Quang Hung MasterD's team win the second round.
The decisive round was a solo performance between Cody Nam Vo and Phap Kieu. Cody Nam Vo promoted her popping strength and personal technique. Phap Kieu responded with a performance demeanor, hip hits and two loops.
Judge C2 Low said that if in terms of reason, he leaned towards Cody Nam Vo, but Phap Kieu created emotional persuasion. The final result belonged to Cody Nam Vo, helping Quang Hung MasterD's team win Dance Battle with a score of 2-1.

Dillan, The Thien, Song Luan and Vuong Binh stop playing
After three rounds, the program announced 10 singers who fell into the dangerous group. The exciting atmosphere at the studio turned tense as members waited for the results of Livestage 3.
Four people had to stop the journey including Dillan, The Thien, Song Luan and Vuong Binh. The remaining artists could not help but shed tears to say goodbye to their teammates.
In episode 8, The Thien left an impression when participating in music development and performing double dance. Song Luan participated in the dance lineup of Quang Hung MasterD's joint force, while Vuong Binh showed confidence before the round. Dillan also had the opportunity to show his musical sense in the Cypher part before being eliminated.
