Director Le Thien Vien returns with "See you on the eclipse day"

After 5 years of absence, director Le Thien Vien officially returns to the film race with the project "Hẹn em ngày nhật thực".

The movie trailer opens up a poetic space in Tra May religious village, where the love story between Thien An and An Thien begins. Frames filled with natural light, clear colors and gentle narration create a picture of love full of poetry. However, behind that beauty is a series of upheavals, misunderstandings and conflicts gradually revealed, leading to a fateful moment on a solar eclipse day - a symbolic detail throughout the film.

The highlight of "Hẹn em ngày nhật thực" lies in the meticulous visual language, where each frame is carefully crafted like an independent photo. Starting out as a photographer, Le Thien Vien continues to promote his strength in coordinating light, color and movement to lead viewers' emotions. He shared his desire that each film frame "knows how to speak", instead of dialogue, in order to bring an emotional and authentic cinematic experience.

The film gathers a cast including Doan Thien An, Khuong Le, Hua Vi Van and veteran artists such as Le Khanh and Kim Xuan. The combination of young and experienced faces is expected to create emotional depth for the story.

In addition, the project also marks the reunion between director Le Thien Vien and producer Ly Minh Thang - the person behind many hits. With rich production experience, Ly Minh Thang plays the role of "keeping the rhythm", ensuring a balance between artistic and commercial elements, helping the film get closer to the general audience.

The resonance between two filmmaking personalities - one is aesthetic, one is sharp about the market - creates a noteworthy highlight for this project. Not just a simple love story, the movie "Hẹn em ngày nhật thực" is also an emotional journey, where memories, choices and hurts are reflected through a cinematic lens full of contemplation.

The film is scheduled to premiere from April 3, 2026 nationwide.
