This is the segment that is considered the dramatic peak of the film. Here, actor Luong The Thanh surprised the audience when he appeared with a toned body, participating in a fierce struggle scene between hundreds of mass actors.
On November 7, the "The Devil Prince" crew released a behind-the-scenes episode revealing the process of performing the main battle scene - the confrontation between the two characters Lo Dat (Luong The Thanh) and Den (Duy Luan). Inspired by Vietnamese folk martial arts, the film's scenes are elaborately staged with a traditional atmosphere interspersed with horror elements, imbued with Vietnamese cultural colors.

Director Tran Huu Tan said that the boulder was built with a diameter of 10 meters, in the middle of the yard there was a " bone throne" - a black throne shaped from an ancient tree trunk for the character Than Duc to observe the match. This scene brings together hundreds of mass actors transforming into enchanted people of the forest village, creating a mysterious and haunting scene.
To film, Luong The Thanh and Duy Luan had to stay in the ceiling, wearing clothes and fighting continuously for 4 days in the cold and humid weather of Da Lat. Luong The Thanh shared: "In the cold weather, my body was numb, sometimes my arms could not be together. I had to take vitamins and maintain a strict diet to be healthy enough to film the final scene. The actor also revealed that he had practiced physical exercise for many months to achieve a "6 bags" figure to serve the role of the village chief Lo Dat - a person with a martial spirit and courage.
According to historical consultant Phan Thanh Nam, including folk art in the film not only creates an attractive action element but also honors the beauty of Vietnamese culture. Walking is a traditional form of martial arts, symbolizing the strength and will of the Vietnamese people. The struggle scene in the movie "The Devil Prince" is a metaphorical image of the confrontation between humans and supernatural forces," he said.
Producer Hoang Quan affirmed that this is the scene with the largest investment in the film, with the desire to portray the Vietnamese folk spirit through the lens of modern cinema. The behind-the-scenes episode shows the meticulousness in every detail - from the set design, costumes, lighting to the costumes of the mass cast.
The film "The Devil's Prince" is a historical horror film project "virtual" directed by Tran Huu Tan, gathering the cast of Anh Tu Atus, Luong The Thanh, Hoang Linh Chi, Rima Thanh Vy, Thanh Truc, expected to be released nationwide from December 5, 2025.
