According to the announcement from the distributor, audiences who buy tickets to watch "Mui Pho" at Beta cinemas nationwide from 7 am to 9 am, from the 1st to the end of the 3rd day of Tet, will be served hot pho right in the screening room. The program does not apply at Beta cinemas Ho Tram, Phu Quoc, Tran Quang Khai, Vinh Yen and Tan Uyen. The activity is expected to create a cozy spring atmosphere, when audiences can both enjoy traditional pho with cinnamon, anise, cardamom, and peanut worms, and follow the story on the big screen.
This idea is considered an interesting test step by the producer in expanding the movie viewing experience, bringing the Vietnamese culinary culture element into the cinematic space. In the context of the fiercely competitive Tet movie market, creating direct interactive activities with the audience is considered a way to help the movie increase recognition, while linking the content of the work with everyday life.
Not only attracting attention with the promotional campaign, the movie "Mui pho" also attracted attention thanks to a cast of talented actors including artists Xuan Hinh, Thu Trang, NSUT Thanh Thanh Hien, Quoc Tuan, Ha Huong, Tien Loc, Cuong Ca, Ngoc Manh, BB Tran, Hai Trieu, Ngoc Phuoc and baby Bao Nam. Among them, the character Sa Sung played by Bao Nam is introduced as the highlight of the movie - a smart, personality boy, contributing to creating many emotional and humorous situations.
The work is directed by Minh Beta, choosing a direction that leans towards multi-generational family stories, exploiting relationships, conflicts and the journey of reconciliation between loved ones.
