After attracting attention with a cast including Quoc Truong, Tieu Vy, Luong Gia Huy..., the crew continued to surprise when announcing Nguyen Van Chung to take on an important role in the film.
In the movie "Oc muon hon", the author of many famous hits transforms into Ong Manh - a successful and powerful tycoon who always loves and protects his daughter Diem Quynh, played by young actor Anh Pham.

The character Mr. Manh secretly uses money to help his daughter get the role she dreams of but still keeps it a secret so that she believes she is successful by her strength. According to the crew, the father-son love line will be one of the emotional highlights of the film.
It is known that the producer spent quite a lot of time persuading musician Nguyen Van Chung to agree to participate in the project. Previously, the musician was famous for ballads such as "Warm Scarf", "Mother's Diary" or recently the song "Continuing the Story of Peace".
Sharing about his first acting career, musician Nguyen Van Chung said that initially he refused because he was worried that acting was not his strength and afraid of affecting the progress of the film crew.
I was afraid it would affect the entire professional team. But the psychological depth of the character Mr. Manh made me change my decision. That is a father who can use money to buy everything but deep down only wants to protect his daughter from harm," the musician said.
According to musician Nguyen Van Chung, he wants to bring the psychology of a father in real life into the role so that the character becomes closer and more authentic.
Meanwhile, actress Anh Pham said she had many special emotions when acting with musician Nguyen Van Chung. The actress commented that her senior, although a "newcomer" to cinema, has sensitivity and quick adaptation in acting.
Anh Chung is very emotional and always creates a comfortable atmosphere for the film crew. In real life, he is humorous and especially very family-oriented," Anh Pham shared.
After many impressive works, director Dinh Tuan Vu continues to pursue the psychological color with "Oc muon hon". The film explores emotional hidden corners, stories about trade-offs and the journey to find the ego behind the showbiz aura.
The film is expected to have early screenings in three days, May 29, 30 and 31.
