Present early at the event, Tran Nhat Minh spent time congratulating and encouraging his wife in the film project marking the female supermodel's return to the big screen after many years. The couple attracted attention when walking side by side on the red carpet with an elegant and luxurious style.
Besides Thanh Hang's husband, the premiere (film screening) also gathered many famous faces such as Ho Ngoc Ha, Binh Minh, Dinh Tien Dat, Tuan Tran, Do Manh Cuong, Ngoc Chau, Le Hoang Phuong, Lam Khanh Chi, artist Ngan Quynh and many close colleagues of the film crew.
At the event, Thanh Hang shared many emotions about the role of Cam Thanh in Mesdames Thanh Sac. The actress said that this is a character with complex psychological developments and a significant difference compared to her previous roles.
This character has both right and wrong, with hurt, happiness and imperfect choices. That's what attracts me," Thanh Hang said.
The beauty also revealed that she had experienced a lot of pressure when performing heavy psychological scenes and especially romantic scenes with co-star Luong The Thanh. According to Thanh Hang, building true emotions for the character is the biggest challenge in the filming process.
Set in Saigon in the 1960s, Mesdames Thanh Sac explores stories about love, aspirations, jealousy and the fate of people behind the glamour of the upper class. The film is invested in setting, costumes and art to recreate the cinematic space of a period of many upheavals.
After the first screening, the work received many positive feedbacks from guests about the visuals, acting as well as the characteristic nostalgic colors. The film will have early screenings from June 18 before officially being released nationwide from June 19.
