On the occasion of reaching 228 billion VND, "House of Ancestors" released a new meaningful poster dedicated to the audience who have enjoyed the film.
On the poster, the character My Tien (played by Phuong My Chi) is holding a portrait in her hand and looking up at the wall hanging family photos.
In it, the image of Gia Minh (played by Huynh Lap) is hung in the middle, with serious eyes looking at his younger sister. The preparation movement to hang her image as an adult on the common wall in My Tien's ancestral house shows the connection between her and her family after many years of separation.
At the same time, My Tien's eyes when looking at the photos also contained respect and gratitude for generations in the family, especially her deceased brother.
At the same time, the film "House of Ancestors" also revealed the behind-the-scenes footage of the character My Tien wearing a fire dance dress. Phuong My Chi acted in this scene herself without a stunt double, overcoming her fear of fire despite having an incident during filming. Phuong My Chi shared: In my first trial with fire, I was able to do it and was very happy. But when filming the real film, while waiting for people to light the red dress to burn up in a circle and stand up, I grumbled and rotated the dress slowly, causing the fire to drop on my feet. At that time, I was so scared that I couldn't speak and screamed loudly, everyone immediately rushed in to put out the fire".
Despite the incident, Phuong My Chi still tried to film the fire dance scene once again because she wanted to overcome the challenge to bring the most beautiful footage.
