Previously, the producer kept Tran Nghia's role a secret, making viewers curious until the film was officially released.
According to the latest revelation, the actor plays Bui An Phat - a psychopath, and is also the key figure in the murder case that occurred in Long Lanh town near Da Lat.
Sharing about the role, Tran Nghia said that he took the initiative to participate in the casting because he wanted to try his hand at a role with psychological depth: "As an actor, I want to transform into many different personalities. Bui An Phat is a real challenge, but it also gives me a very good feeling when expressing complex emotions".
Director Quoc Cong gave many compliments to Tran Nghia, saying that he was the "perfect cheat" of the film. "Nghia's gentle appearance is the lever that helps the script maintain the tension and surprise until the last minute. The film The banqueting Heart tells the story of a brutal murder that shocked a peaceful town, where all characters are hiding a secret. The story revolves around the famous painter Triet (Quach Ngoc Ngoan), his wife Xuan (Xuan Van), and the complicated relationships between Son (Viet Hung) and Anh (Nhat Linh). Bui An Phat appeared as a chain opening the chain of truth that exposed every cover, exposing the terrifying hidden corners of human psychology.
The film "The Comfy Heart" directed by Quoc Cong will be released nationwide from November 7, 2025.
