The victory at the Golden Kite continues to extend Thu Trang's impressive achievement series after the resounding success of the movie "Billion Dollar Kiss". Previously, the female artist was awarded the Best Leading Feature Film Director award at the 24th Vietnam Film Festival also with this film.
Being continuously honored in two different roles – director and actress – helps Thu Trang become one of the most prominent faces of this year's awards season.
Sharing about this, Thu Trang emotionally said: "Trang is really happy and grateful to receive this award. This is a valuable recognition not only for Trang herself but also for the whole crew who have lived together with the character. This role is not big, but the audience's affection for it is very big, and that is what moves Trang the most.
Released in theaters from the 1st day of Tet 2025, the movie "Billion-dollar Kiss" quickly created a positive effect thanks to its gentle, close humorous color, harmoniously combining family emotional elements. The film reached a revenue milestone of over 200 billion VND, becoming one of the best-selling Vietnamese films of the year. Not long before that, Miss Doan Thien An was also honored at the Green Star award in the Best Favorite Actress category for her main role in the film.
Mentioning her junior, Thu Trang revealed: "The night Thien An received the award, she took photos to show off to me. I am as happy as a high-scoring girl. I also immediately sent beautiful photos to congratulate her". In her role as a producer - director, Thu Trang is highly appreciated for always being ready to give opportunities and accompany young faces such as Doan Thien An, Ma Ran Do or Tram Anh, Gia Huy.
Sharing about her upcoming plans, Thu Trang said that she will spend time resting after a period of devoting all her efforts to "Ai thuong ai meen", before returning to a new film project as an actress.
