AEON Group supports people affected by storms Matmo and Bualoi

AEON Group in Vietnam has donated more than VND4.6 billion to support people affected by two storms Matmo and Bualoi.

On the afternoon of October 29, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, representatives of AEON Group in Vietnam presented a contribution of more than VND 4.6 billion, from the AEON 1% Fund, member companies of AEON Group in Vietnam and staff, to support people affected by the two storms Matmo and Bualoi, including goods worth VND 2 billion, contributing to helping people rebuild and stabilize their lives.

Thousands of products serving daily life such as blankets, blankets and scarves... with a total value of more than 2 billion VND will be sent by Aeon Vietnam to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City to donate to people in affected areas.

The award ceremony was attended by Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice President of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Relief Mobilization Committee; Mr. Phan Hong An - Vice President of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Relief Mobilization Committee; Ms. Duong Thi Huyen Tram - Head of the Social Work Department of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representative of AEON Group in Vietnam Mr. Tezuka Daisuke - Member of the Group Executive Committee, Head of the Group representative of AEON Group in Vietnam, and General Director of AEON Vietnam, and representatives of member companies in the Group in Vietnam.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Tezuka - Daisuke, Chief Representative of AEON Group in Vietnam - shared: Based on the Group's business philosophy, AEON and its staff have launched a donation program to support people in storm-hit areas.

We hope that, with these practical contributions and support, AEON can join hands to share some of the difficulties and losses of the people, and support people in flood-affected areas to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and quickly stabilize their lives."
