AEON Vietnam accelerates new phase
In the first week of October, AEON Vietnam simultaneously opened the General Department of Commercial Trade & Supermarket (TT BHTH & ST) AEON Van Giang in Hung Yen on October 2, and the AEON Tan An commercial center (TTTM) in Tay Ninh on October 4.
These events mark the period of accelerating the expansion of AEON's retail system in Vietnam, aiming to enhance the Japanese standard shopping experience for Vietnamese consumers.
Vision to 2030 - Triple the scale of activities
Thanks to its flexible and sustainable business strategy, AEON Vietnam maintains a stable annual growth rate, affirming its position as one of the Group's key global markets, along with Japan.
To date, AEON has invested about 1.5 billion USD in the Vietnamese market; in the next 10 years, the group plans to invest on an equivalent scale to accelerate the development speed in our country. According to the long-term strategy, the Group aims to trip the scale of operations in the Vietnamese market by 2030.
Diversifying retail models - The key to sustainable growth
In parallel with expanding scale, AEON focuses on developing a diverse retail ecosystem, meeting the increasingly diverse needs of Vietnamese consumers.
Currently, AEON Group operates 8 Trade Centers, 15 General & Supermarket Center, 45 small and medium-sized supermarkets, 182 convenience stores and 29 specialized stores. In which, AEON Tan An Trade Center, BHTH & ST AEON Van Giang Trade Center, AEON Midori Park Trade Center will be opened before the end of 2025.

AEON Van Giang - New strategic starting point in the Red River Delta
As the first TTBHTH & AE STON in Hung Yen and the first store in the Vincom Mega Mall system, AEON Van Giang is expected to become a typical destination for the Red River Delta region, promoting domestic consumption and contributing positively to the local economy.
According to AEON representative, Nghia Tru commune, Hung Yen was chosen thanks to its potential for 6-fold population growth by 2030, a strategic trading location between Hanoi - Hai Phong - Hung Yen and key industrial parks.

Accompanying Vietnamese enterprises - Affirming long-term confidence and commitment
Not only expanding the retail system, AEON also focuses on improving the capacity and production quality of Vietnamese enterprises - strategic partners in the supply chain.
Mr. Tezuka affirmed: AEON has a strategy of accompanying, cooperating fairly and equally with suppliers, to bring the best products to customers, while ensuring business efficiency for both AEON and its partners.

In the coming period, AEON will continue to expand the system nationwide, especially in the Red River Delta, Central and Southern regions, while developing retail models suitable for each locality.
