Practically to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ninh Kieu Ward, Can Tho City coordinated with the ward's rapid response team to protect the environment to organize the 5th "Green Sunday" in 2025.
The activity attracted the participation of more than 100 union members and young people in the area to join hands to contribute and respond.
Union members simultaneously launched an environmental cleanup campaign on Hai Ba Trung Street and the President Ho Chi Minh monument area. The tasks include: collecting garbage, removing illegal billboards, sweeping cleanup, and cleaning urban landscapes.
It is known that the "Green Youth - Action for the Environment" movement of Ninh Kieu ward will continue to be implemented to spread widely, contributing to building a bright - green - clean - beautiful urban appearance, creating an exciting and competitive atmosphere in young people, towards celebrating major national holidays.
