On August 26, Hung Vuong Hospital organized a program to honor the title of Labor Hero and launched the campaign "Hung Vuong Hospital - Preserving a lifetime of women".
The event took place after the ceremony to receive the title of Labor Hero on August 22, recognizing the contributions of many generations of officials and employees in the journey of more than 120 years of formation and development of the hospital.
From its predecessor, Cho Lon Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Hung Vuong Hospital has become one of the specialized obstetrics and gynecology facilities at the final level in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern region. In addition to pregnancy, childbirth and newborn care, the hospital aims to expand its role into a place to care for women's health throughout their life cycles.
The "Preserve a Lifetime of Women" campaign covers care needs from puberty, reproductive age, journey to find children, pregnancy, postpartum to treatment of pelvic floor diseases, pre-menopause and menopause care.
Key professional activities include reproductive and gynecological health care; assisted reproduction, in vitro fertilization; high-risk pregnancy management; neonatal care; counseling, screening, diagnosis and long-term treatment.
According to the hospital, "keeping" is not only protecting health with professional competence, detecting risks and intervening at the right time. This concept also aims to preserve motherhood opportunities, the safety of mothers and children, body function, choice, confidence and quality of life for women.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thi Diem Tuyet - Director of Hung Vuong Hospital - said that the campaign is a commitment to action of the team of officials and employees. The hospital will innovate expertise, connect services into a continuous care journey, strengthen the application of technology and put women at the center of decisions.
Within the framework of the program, the hospital introduces real-life stories of patients combined with professional perspectives from the team of doctors. The communication film "ALMOST" also emphasizes the meaning of timely medical monitoring and intervention.
