The Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) has just issued a notice suspending circulation and recalling nationwide two cosmetic products including Nourishing hair care shampoo and Nourishing hair care conditioner of the Herba Luxe brand due to violations of product formula regulations.
Nourishing hair care shampoo has the Receipt Number of the Announcement Form 337/25/CBMP-PT, while Nourishing hair care conditioner has the Receipt Number of the Announcement Form 336/25/CBMP-PT.
These two products are the responsibility of business household Dam Thi Tuyen (Thanh Hoa) to bring to the market and are produced by Chiko Vietnam International Co., Ltd. (Phu Tho).
The Drug Administration of Vietnam said that the reason for the recall is that cosmetic products circulating on the market have formulas that are not in accordance with the announced dossiers. This is an act that does not meet current regulations on cosmetic management.
To ensure the rights and safety of consumers, the Drug Administration of Vietnam requests the Departments of Health of provinces and cities to notify establishments trading, distributing and using cosmetics in the area to immediately stop trading and using the two products mentioned above, and at the same time return them to the supplying unit.
Localities are also required to strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of recovery and strictly handle violating organizations and individuals according to regulations.
For business households Dam Thi Tuyen and Chiko Vietnam International Co., Ltd., the Drug Administration of Vietnam requested to urgently send recall notices to all distribution and product users; receive recalled goods from business establishments and destroy all products that do not meet regulations.
The two units must complete the recall and destruction and send the result report to the Drug Administration of Vietnam before July 28, 2026.
In addition, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Department of Health and the Phu Tho Provincial Department of Health are assigned the task of supervising the recovery and destruction process of relevant units, and at the same time reporting the implementation results to the Drug Administration of Vietnam before August 13, 2026.
