According to the Department of Pharmaceutical Management, Hanayuki Shampoo cosmetic products - 300 gram bottle is a product produced by VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited (address: Dai Thanh Binh Scalp High-Scalp Floor, No. 911-913-915-917 Nguyen Trai, Ward 14, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City); EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company (Road No. 6, Giang Dien Industrial Park, Giang Dien Commune, Trang Bom District, Dong Nai Province).
Based on the test results of the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Drug Testing according to test form No. 0023/VKN-KTMP2025 dated April 29, the Hanayuki Shampoo product sample - 300-gram bottle taken at EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company did not meet quality requirements.
The product sample violated the limit on microbiological indicators and was detected to contain 2-Phenoxyethanol, an ingredient not included in the formula that had been granted a cosmetic product declaration receipt number.
According to information from the National Portal on Business Registration, EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company was formerly EBC Group Company Limited.
The Department of Drug Administration requests to suspend circulation and recall nationwide all Hanayuki Shampoo product batches - 300 grams bottles, cosmetic product declaration form receipt number 780/24/CBMP-DN, batch number 0010125, production date January 5, 2025 and expiration date January 4, 2027.
The provincial and municipal health departments have notified businesses and cosmetic users in the area to immediately stop trading and using the above-mentioned Hanayuki Shampoo - 300 gram bottle product batch and return it to the product supplier.
Proceeding to recall the batch and destroy the above-mentioned batch of violating products; inspect and supervise units implementing this notice; handle units violating according to current regulations.
At the same time, the Department requires VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited and EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company to notify all distributors and users of this product lot. Receive the returned product and proceed to recall and destroy all violating shipments.
