The training course is included in the training and professional development plan for the military medical sector in 2025, aiming to update professional knowledge, standardize procedures and improve the capacity to treat gastrointestinal bleeding for the military medical team in the entire army.
The class brings together 70 trainees who are gastroenterologists and military doctors. The program takes place over 2 days with 5 key topics, focusing on updating the diagnosis and treatment of upper and lower gastrointestinal bleeding; bleeding due to increased pressure on the gate vein; and modern interventions and treatments. Students are given a blood counting intervention endoscopy course and practice on a simulation model.

Lieutenant Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Duc Tien - Deputy Director of Military Hospital 175 said that gastrointestinal bleeding is a dangerous acute disease that requires quick diagnosis and proper treatment. The training course has practical significance in improving professional capacity, meeting treatment requirements at military medical levels throughout the army.
