On March 28, Hue Central Hospital said that the expanded Youth Science Conference 2026 with the theme "Developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation of healthcare", attracted more than 500 domestic and foreign delegates to attend.
The conference was attended by Standing Deputy Minister of Health Vu Manh Ha, along with leaders of Hue City, departments, universities, specialized associations and international delegates from China, Japan, and Korea.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Vu Manh Ha highly appreciated the selection of topics associated with the development trend of the health sector, emphasizing that science and technology, artificial intelligence and big data are becoming important driving forces to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, towards the personalization of treatment and building a modern health system.
According to hospital leaders, in the context of strong digital transformation, the team of young doctors plays a core role in scientific research, mastering technology and promoting innovation. The conference is not only an academic forum but also an environment to nurture new ideas for Vietnamese medicine.
Within the framework of the program, many scientific report sessions focus on applying advanced technology in diagnosis, treatment and hospital management. Continuous training activities are organized in combination with direct and online, contributing to updating professional knowledge for the medical team.

The presentations at the conference also clarified the role of digital transformation in improving management efficiency, optimizing resources and gradually building smart hospital models; and at the same time supporting more accurate clinical decisions through the application of artificial intelligence.
