On December 2, the opening ceremony of the "Based Abdominal Endoscopic Surgery" class took place at the Hall of Thien Hanh General Hospital (Dak Lak province). According to the plan, the course will last for 12 weeks, from December 1 to March 13 with the coordination of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Mr. Pham Phu Cuong - Deputy Director of Thien Hanh General Hospital said that opening a training course for basic endoscopic surgery skills not only helps local doctors improve their skills but also contributes to standardizing professional capacity in a modern direction.
Thien Hanh General Hospital always focuses on investing in improving the quality of its staff and facilities, being ready to share experiences, and support training to contribute to improving the capacity of medical examination and treatment in the Central Highlands region, Mr. Cuong emphasized.

Endoscopic surgery is considered one of the important advances in medicine. This is a minimalist invasive technique, helping to relieve pain after surgery, limit complications, reduce bleeding, shorten hospital stay and recover quickly.
For the Central Highlands region - where the terrain is large, the population is dispersed and the need for health care is increasing - it is very necessary to have more facilities capable of performing endoscopic surgery.
Strengthening on-site training also helps reduce the pressure of referral, limiting costs for patients. Thereby, creating conditions for patients to access modern medical services right in the locality.
