Dark urine
Light yellow urine shows that the body is hydrated. Dark yellow or amber urine signals dehydration.
Fatigue and lethargy
Dehydration reduces blood volume, forcing the heart to work harder and making you unusually tired, even after getting enough sleep.
Frequent headaches
Dehydration can cause the brain to contract and activate pain receptors. Drinking water often relieve mild headaches.
Dry, less elastic skin
Water maintains skin elasticity. Peeling, tight skin and taking a long time to recover can be signs of dehydration.
Dizziness or lightheadedness
Dehydration can reduce blood pressure and blood flow to the brain, causing dizziness, especially when waking up suddenly or after activity.
