According to the report of Tien Giang General Hospital, the hospital receives 1,500 - 2,700 visitors per day for examination and treatment, with an average of 1,400 - 1,600 inpatients per day. Currently, the number of hospital beds approved by the Social Insurance is 1,380 beds; when the number of patients exceeds the capacity, the hospital must arrange additional temporary beds and chairs to meet treatment needs.
The hospital's leaders recommended that the Provincial People's Committee consider, promptly approve and arrange funding to invest in medical equipment, serve the needs of medical examination and treatment for people; and request the Provincial Social Insurance to consider and resolve the payment of outstanding drug and technical service costs. The hospital also requested the police force to strengthen the management of spontaneous activities in front of the gate and inside the hospital to ensure security, order and environmental sanitation.

Sharing the difficulties of the hospital, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Health to review and propose investment plans for equipment in the public investment plan; The Provincial Social Insurance reviews and resolves all problems in health insurance payment.
