Long Chau pharmacy system and vaccination center together with Santen ophthalmology pharmaceutical company (Japan) launched the project "Dried Eye Detection & Eye Protection Care in the Digital Equipment Environment".
This tool helps people recognize the risk of dry eyes early through common signs such as dryness, burning, blurred vision... when using electronic devices for a long time. The test only takes about 30 seconds to complete.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Phuc - General Director of Santen Vietnam - said that with more than 130 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology, Santen hopes to contribute through the project to raising community awareness about eye care and supporting people to identify the risk of dry eyes conveniently, based on a scientific basis.
On Long Chau's side, Mr. Vu Ngoc Thang - Director of the Drug - Vaccine industry - said that the program will be widely implemented through a system of more than 2,400 pharmacies along with the unit's website and application. People after performing the screening will receive an initial assessment of their eye condition, thereby proactively adjusting living habits and taking care of vision.
