Implementing the plan of the People's Committee of Ban Ho commune (Lao Cai province) on deploying health - population activities in 2026, in April, the Commune Health Station simultaneously organized out-of-hospital health check-ups in 8 villages in the area, contributing to shortening the distance to access health services for people in mountainous areas.
Examination sessions are implemented in Lech Mong, Phung Mong, Phung Dao, Ban Pho, Ta Trung Ho, Ma Quai Ho, Nam Tóong and Hoang Lien villages, taking place from April 10 to April 23, 2026.

The examination point is located at the village cultural house - a convenient place for travel, helping people, especially the elderly, people with meritorious services, women and children easily participate without having to travel far.
According to the plan, each examination session will receive from 50 to 100 visits, the total number of visits in the period will reach about 300-450 people.
Here, people are given a general clinical examination, blood pressure measurement for all examined people, and quick blood sugar tests for cases with risk factors.
In addition, the medical team also provides nutritional advice, reproductive health care, and at the same time reviews and guides full vaccination for children.

Not only stopping at medical examination and treatment activities, the program also integrates propaganda on food safety and hygiene, disease prevention, thereby raising awareness and changing health care behavior in the community.
Notably, all medical examination and treatment information of people is updated directly into the electronic health record system, contributing to gradually modernizing health management at the grassroots level.
To ensure efficiency, the Commune Health Station has fully prepared medicines, supplies and necessary equipment; specifically assigned officials and doctors to be in charge of each examination session.
Village authorities also proactively coordinate to compile lists of participants, prepare locations, and at the same time propagate and mobilize people to come for examination on time.
Out-of-hospital health check-ups at Ban Ho not only have practical significance in providing primary health care for people in difficult areas, but also help detect early and manage diseases promptly, and reduce travel costs for people.
Thereby, contributing to improving the quality of life and effectively implementing health - population goals in the area.
